March 13, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 4300 Tidwell Road about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (March 12).

The identity of the deceased male, 57, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. James and Officer F. Serna reported:

The driver of a blue Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Tidwell Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in the median.  The driver was extracted from the vehicle by responding Houston Fire Department personnel and transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

There were no other person(s)s or vehicle(s) involved in this crash.  The investigation is continuing.
