Urgent Advisory: Construction Update from Council District D Office
Dear Residents of District D,
We're embarking on a significant infrastructure improvement project starting December 7, 2023. Please note that the dates provided may shift due to weather, holidays, or other unexpected factors.
Scheduled Activities:
- December 7, 2023: Notices detailing the construction process will be distributed to all residents.
- December 8, 2023: Project signs will be installed at key locations to clearly mark the construction zones.
- December 11 - December 29, 2023: Intensive work on driveways, curbs, and gutters. This phase involves removing existing concrete and pouring new material, leading to a temporary loss of driveway access for at least three days from the start of removal.
- From December 18, 2023: Ongoing restoration to ensure the area is returned to its original state post-construction.
- December 26, 2023 - January 12, 2024: Asphalt milling and repair work, a critical step in improving road quality.
Additional Project Information:
- The construction will initiate at Rosedale and Sauer, proceeding westbound toward Ennis. Following the completion of the westbound side, work will continue eastbound from Ennis back to Sauer.
- During the concrete work phase, residents will be unable to use their driveways or park on the street. Alternative parking arrangements will be available on the eastbound side of the street.
